Hello!

I grew up in a small village (I'm still living in it haha!) as the middle child of three girls. As an added bonus, I'm a Scorpio, so some might say I was destined to be the 'problem child' - the one who talked back, resisted being told what to do and was easily miffed when things didn't go her way and I wasn't afraid to speak my mind.

Everything changed when I became pregnant at 16.  I turned inward and shut down who I once was.  I left school after my 17th birthday, giving birth to my son 5 months later.  While it was a challenging time, I can look back and without a doubt, say it was one of the best things that happened for me.  Without those experiences, I wouldn't be the person I am today.

When my son was a few months old, I returned to school before continuing my education at college.  Shortly after graduating, I landed a full-time job close to home, where I was to later meet my husband.

My life completely changed course once again.....

In my early twenties I visited a few mediums, opening my awareness of the Spirit world with each reading bringing a sense of awe and wonder.  I love knowing we're not alone and are being guided and supported by loved ones and Angels every day, even though we may not see or feel it.

Life got busy, and any thoughts of the Spirit world faded until mid 2020 when I had an online Tarot reading.  My life completely changed course once again after my eyes were opened to a whole new way of living - I've not looked back since.  I soon learned Tarot, reading cards for myself and family.  I love the connection I have with my cards, each deck has its own energy - something I never would have believed until I began working with them.

I owe a lot to Betty Shine.....

In December 2021, my husband bought me a book called 'Mind To Mind' by Betty Shine, a well known clairvoyant and energy healer.  I read the book over a few nights,  loving her story so much I purchased more of her publications, each one pulling me further towards trying energy healing.  Betty Shine changed the direction of my life, giving me the courage to pursue energy healing and helping me understand the power of my mind, our connectedness and the ability to shape our reality.  I owe a lot to this lovely lady - her words started opening up 'gifts' I never knew I had.  

With Betty's books filling me with confidence, I began testing out my healing abilities. My family volunteered to be my experimental clients, so I practised with them, surprising us all that I could actually do it!  The opportunity to learn Reiki then came up and by early 2023, I'd become a fully qualified Reiki Practitioner.

I stepped away from healing.....

I continued with distance healing for a while, balancing them with family and work life until another shift happened.  Our beloved dog passed in October 2022 and we experienced a grief we had never known before.  At this point, I had been an Etsy seller for around 12years but all creativity left me.  My 'work buddy' and our family clown was gone, leaving a huge gaping hole.  I asked the Universe (not expecting much) for a stay-at-home job that allowed me to be there for our daughter whenever she needed care.  Within weeks, my husband offered me a role in his department as they were short staffed. I accepted the job, loving the routine and purpose it gave me again.

In June 2023, we welcomed a new dog into our family, but I found training him and working full-time meant I didn't have the time or energy to continue my healing work, and so, I stepped away from healing until Aug 2024 when my husband fell ill.  I began channelling Reiki during his most painful moments, with it easing his discomfort enough to allow him to rest and get some sleep - this started the pull towards healing again.
